What you'll be doing as Lead DevOps Engineer at Dyflexis
You assume responsibility for all cloud development endeavours. Given our transition from a scale-up to a product-led organisation, this calls for "Infrastructure as code", your Kubernetes and Terraform skills as well as data security and data protection knowledge to maximise your impact. Do you like going cloud-native? As our Lead DevOps you report to our CTO and work in tandem with 3 other people in the infrastructure block. We're a small team but we want to become an elite team that uses automation rather than an army of system administrators that do manual work. Being small allows us to do away with bureaucracy, plan efficiently and respond to events effectively.
You will also focus on:
⊕ Conducting regular 1:1s with team members to understand their challenges, provide guidance, and support their professional development.
⊕ Contributing to strategic planning sessions to align the platform's technical direction with the company's goals.
⊕ Encouraging team innovation by introducing new ideas and technologies.
⊕ Proactively identifying and resolving challenges that could impact the team's productivity and the platform's performance.

What you need to succeed
The setting is challenging: 800k users depend on our platform and app, so stability and scalability must go hand in hand. Moreover, we want to improve the framework, increase robustness, and optimize many features concurrently, including authorization, routing, and component interaction. Granted, this is a challenging role, but the payoff is greater still. If you succeed, you will not only improve the way we approach DevOps, but also positively impact the experience of 800k users across the globe.

⊕ You know what it takes to build a solid product (agency experience is a plus)
⊕ You can inspire peers, as well as other technical and non-tech stakeholders
⊕ You know your way around PHP, Vue.js 3, Docker, Kubernetes and Gitlab
⊕ Ownership and initiative come naturally to you - you're on it, always
⊕ You set systems up from scratch and embrace a 'build it, run it, love it' mindset
⊕ You are a passionate and pragmatic problem-solver: no puzzle is too complex!
